For years, ballrooms have been the go-to venue for couples to get married, but couples are now starting to consider alternative venues which may provide a different ambience that best complements their ideal wedding aesthetic. Chijmes Hall is one such venue that is becoming increasingly popular and we were there last Sunday for the Chijmes Wedding Experience as one of their wedding specialists!
The event’s theme featured a lush dining set up adorned with strings of fairy lights coupled with the restored chapel’s signature high ceiling and stained glass windows that added to the urban vintage mood. Guests were able to have a personable experience at the appointment-based event, with the wedding planners present ensuring that each of the couples on the extensive list of attendees were able to interact and engage with planners and vendors alike.
Vocalise was the designated wedding music specialist for the show. We were most pleased to have presented some of our most highly sought-after musicians for wedding entertainment at the event: AMPER Quartet, instrumental jazz duo and our harpist, who complemented the venue’s ambience perfectly with a variety of genres – including classical, jazz, and pop – specially curated to cater to different kinds of wedding settings, from cosy and intimate, to elegant and glamorous.
Classical pieces played by both AMPER Quartet and our harpist, such as Canon in D, allowed the timelessness of classical music to shine through, while our instrumental jazz duo enhanced the cozy and intimate feeling of the hall.
We enjoyed speaking to brides and grooms-to-be at our booth, where we shared more about what we specialise in and our specially curated partnership deals for couples who would be celebrating their special day at Chijmes Hall and Alcove at Caldwell Hall.
Thank you to all who stopped by to chat with us, and we hope that the Vocalise team and our musicians managed to convey how quality live music can make a difference on your special day!
