On 25 June 2019, President Mdm Halimah Yacob hosted her excellency, Ministers and Ambassadors of Southeast-Asian countries such as Cook Islands, Maldives, Cambodia, Brunei etc. at the Istana for the Asia-Pacific Telecommunity 40th Anniversary Gala Dinner.
Vocalise had the honour to be the appointed agent to provide live entertainment for President Mdm Halimah and guests, presenting Vocalise String Quartet at the event. Live music creates a celebratory atmosphere, Vocalise String Quartet played and created an ambience throughout the dinner. They played a mixture of classics and familiar tunes such as Bengawan Solo, Tian Mi Mi, La Vie En Rose and Stand By Me.

What’s a celebration without a cake?
Our musicians accompanied the cake-cutting ceremony with a short phrase of “Happy Birthday”.
It’s always a pleasure to see the guests showing appreciation and gratitude to music and the quartet. Some of the guests have walked up to thank VSQ personally for providing a grandeur yet relaxing atmosphere that evening!
