Introducing Caryn, our chief consultant behind the planning process of BRAVO!!
With Vocalise’s foray into kids workshops, BRAVO!! is the first step we are taking. As a workshop designed to welcome your child to the wonderful world of music and cultivate a sense of appreciation for it, it is crucial to make learning fun.
Caryn has 15 years of music teaching experience. She obtained a Degree in Music Education and has been teaching music instrumental lessons and group classes for young children as young as 18 months old.
BRAVO!! is catered to children between 3-6 years old as Caryn believes that it is the best age for kids to learn. A mother to her three year old daughter, she understands how every child is unique and has a different way of learning.
As a music workshop for children with and without music knowledge background, Caryn curates suitable songs popular among kids. She gains inspiration from songs her students request to learn from her every week.
For other activities in BRAVO!! like DIY instruments and learning pulse and rhythm, Caryn crafts the lesson plan using her expertise in understanding what children like and respond well to.
