Highlights Of BRAVO!! Christmas Workshop

On 7 December, Vocalise Studios conducted our first ever BRAVO!! workshop for kids. It was a 1hr 45mins programme that included lots of fun musical activities for children, as well as a special performance by Vocalise String Quartet (VSQ) at the end to usher in the festive spirit.

As an interactive workshop, the session started with “Music And Movement” where the kids sang and danced along to Christmas music.

For “Music Games”,  the skilled facilitators taught the children to identify simple musical terms and recognise the differences in music.

It was heartwarming to see how enthusiastic the kids were in learning something new!

During the “Arts And Craft” session where children got to diy their own tamborine, it was an activity thoroughly enjoyed by both them and their parents as they worked together to create their individual instruments.

Afterwards, the kids got to sing and play along with it by tapping the pulse and imitating the rhythm of simple Christmas songs.

Wrapping up the workshop, VSQ made an appearance and shared about their instruments before playing Christmas tunes where everyone danced along. The energy in the room was infectious!

We ended off with a BRAVO!! cheer to educate the next generation of music lovers the importance of music appreciation.

Keen to welcome your little one into the wonderful world of music? Join us for our next workshop on 1 Feb, CNY edition.
