LESTER KONG
ZILINE CHEN

From a young age, music has been playing a significant role in Lester’s life. Aside from his vast experience in conducting both in Singapore and internationally, Lester is the Instrumental Program Instructor of Stamford America International School, and former Instrumental Consultant to the National Institute of Education in Singapore. He is presently the Music Director of the Victoria Junior College String Ensemble.
In 2017, he was awarded the Pierre Monteux Prize in conducting at the Smoky Mountain International Conducting Institute and Competition.
Ziline has over 15 years of event management experience and has worked extensively at music festivals featuring luminaries such as actor Geoffrey Rush, violinists Joshua Bell and Sarah Chang, and flautist Sir James Galway.
In 2013, Ziline was a part of the stage management and artiste hospitality team in the Russia-Singapore Jazz Symphonia. Her prior experiences consist of being actively involved in the Singapore Sun Festival where she had the opportunity to work with the Bolshoi Theatre, Afro Cuban All Stars, Al Jarreau, David Foster, Charice, Natalie Cole, Ruben Studdard, and George Benson.
