Lily Ann

Lily Ann’s humble beginnings started in the SAF Music & Drama Company in 1997. She was the stand-in singer for Kit Chan during the National Day 1998 Preview, performing live in front of a 60,000 crowd at the old National Stadium. Since then, she has done recordings and performed with local and international acts such as SRT, Jack Neo and Jeremy Monteiro. Lily Ann was also featured in NDP 2007’s song, “Will. You”. She has coached and mentored local talents like Olivia. Ong, Novabelle Ng and Ryan Sufiyan. Lily Ann truly gives the world the story of a song, for anyone to relate to.

Karen Xavier

A Jazz singer formally trained in classical piano, Karen has more than 25 years of experience performing on the world’s stage. She has toured Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Pakistan with the Singapore Tourism Board, and participated in music festivals like Expo Japan. Karen was lead vocalist for the East Belgium Swing Band from 1995 to 2009. In Singapore, she was resident and regular singer at the Marina Bay Sands, Mandarin Oriental, Hotel Intercontinental and Shangri-La.

Her repertoire has been featured at events for Deutsche Bank, APEC, the Asia Boating Awards, Chiane des Rotisseurs and the Inaugural Michelin Guide Singapore 2016 Awards Gala.

Colin Yong

This versatile bass player has earned his way into International Music & Jazz Festivals in Toronto, Chicago, New York, Berlin, Cape Town, Mexico City and all over Asia. A homeboy at heart, Colin performs with W!LD RICE, Dream Academy, The Theatre Practice and Toy Factory Ensemble. He had also backed various pop artistes in regional and local concerts, notably Kit Chan’s “Spellbound” and “Time for Everything”, TF Boyz anniversary concert 2019 (Shenzhen), and Wallace Chung’s (钟汉良) “Sing for Life” (Shanghai). Colin also composes, arranges and scores extensively for a variety of projects and advertisements. He currently writes and produces for Universal Production Music APAC.

Rizal Sanip

Served 13 years in the Singapore Armed Forces Central Band, Rizal Sanip’s vocation was drum major and leader of the percussion section. As a multitalented individual, he was appointed the arranger, guitarist, vocalist and bandleader of his company dance band. His home-grown passion for music propelled him into musicals and his first jazz club, Jazz@Southbridge. 

Today, Rizal records for artistes as a studio sessionist and composes for library music (UPM). His working relationship extends from Pandemonium to Lasalle College of the Arts, giving him ample opportunities to work in musical productions such as LKY The Musical and JJ Lin’s concert.

Nicholas Lim

A graduate of the renowned Dick Grove School of Music in Los Angeles, Nick Lim brings at least 35 years of experience to the Jazz music scene in Singapore. He joined Mediacorp in 1991 as resident pianist, composer and wrote theme songs of “Under One Roof”, “Phua Chu Kang”, among many others. From 1997-2010, Nick was the pianist of ChromaZone, the resident Jazz band of Harry’s Bar @ Boat Quay. He has been a freelance composer, music arranger, pianist since 2011. es, arranges and scores extensively for a variety of projects and advertisements. He currently writes and produces for Universal Production Music APAC.

Rachma Lim

Born in North Sumatra, Indonesia, Rachma is a pianist-composer who has been gigging in the Singapore Jazz scene since her graduation from Lasalle School of Contemporary Music in 2009. She has recently earned her master degree focusing in Jazz studies in Queens College, New York City.

After spending the last decade performing and collaborating with many great musicians such as Raghajazz – a jazz Indian-classical fusion band, Orchestra Melayu Singapura (OMS), Symphony Big Band and several international touring vocalists, she found her niche in world music. She has since released an EP containing original jazz compositions, Her Nocturnal Chapters.

Brandon Wong

Synonymous with the music scenes in Singapore, Brandon is a versatile musician and audio engineer who has collaborated with many major ensembles, including the Singapore Symphony Orchestra.

Having graduated with B.Mus Honours(Distinction) – Double Bass Performance from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, NUS, Brandon is also the recipient of the prestigious Steven Baxter Memorial Award for outstanding performance and achievements.

Naturally inquisitive and multitalented, Brandon extends his talents to being a double bass luthier, audio engineer and video producer with clients extending to the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra and University of California Irvine, USA to name a few.

Arthur Adika Wiyono

Jazz bassist Arthur was born and raised in Bandung, Indonesia, where he first learned how to play the guitar from his father at the tender age of six. Arthur performs a diverse repertorie of music with four different local bands: Flame of the Forest, The Sidewalk Swingers, The Jazz Djogets and Namie and the Waves.

He currently practices as a professional session musician, composer, arranger, instructor, and music producer. Arthur hopes to fulfil his dreams as a music practitioner who will help raise and inspire the next generation of Singapore musicians.
