In the spirit of the holidays, The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore organised a breakfast event to gather gifts for underprivileged children. When we were asked if we were keen to provide the entertainment for this generous event, we immediately knew this was our opportunity to do some good for those who needed it most.
For every gift brought by each guest, a sumptuous breakfast would be given courtesy of The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore as their way of showing appreciation this holiday.
Though the initial agreement was to provide our musicians for the event, we felt it was only right that we also turned up with toys for the kids who had less than us. With gifts and musicians in tow, the Vocalise team started our morning bright and early to share our music with the hotel’s generous guests.
Serenading the guests with a string of Christmas jingles and crowd-pleasing top hits, our Jazz trio chased the Monday Blues away and set the mood for a lovely start to the Christmas season.
They say to give is to receive, and the warmth we felt from this meaningful event was the best gift that morning. Watching the pile of presents grow as the morning went on definitely left us feeling that we were able to contribute something filled with good in our small little way.
We’re looking forward to this Christmas season, as we’re sure you must be too. With lots of celebrating round the corner, we’re excited to share our love for music to even more people.
