Live entertainment has been a staple for all the big and prestigious ceremonies and dinners in town. What’s better than some live action for your distinguished guests and guest-of-honour? Here are some of the award dinners our exclusive pop-rock string quartet, VOX, have been to.
Vocalise was invited back for another edition of the RAS Epicurean Star Award Gala Dinner. This time, we provided our exclusive ensemble, VOX, as a string trio.
The RAS Epicurean Star Award celebrates achievements in Singapore’s F&B industry, recognising innovative visionaries as well as talented chefs, restaurateurs and service staff. As one of the biggest events in the industry, the award comprised a respectable panel of judges consisting of our top local chefs and food bloggers. The gala also invited Mr S Iswaran, Minister for Trade & Industry (Industry) as the Guest-of-Honour.
Setting the mood for the grand evening, the ladies of VOX rocked a repertoire with some of the pop-rock group’s best pieces – Love and Fugue, Viva La Vida, Get Lucky and Wonderwall.

VOX was also invited to open for the Enterprise 50 Awards back in late November. It is a prestigious event where the who’s who of the business community are all invited. Enterprise 50 saw Mr Heng Swee Keat, Minister of Finance as the Guest-Of-Honour.
The Enterprise 50 Awards recognises the fifty most enterprising privately-owned local companies for their contributions to the economic development in Singapore and abroad. These are companies that often top the headlines with extensive media coverage in The Business Times and other media channels.
The event was 1200 guests strong. VOX’s Smoke Symphony added an element of excitement to the opening ceremony.
