Last week, our pop-rock string quartet VOX had the privilege to perform for the CapitalLand Retailers’ Lohei Dinner. The festive event was uniquely held at Zouk – one of Singapore’s most recognizable names in the club scene. With the theme being Neon Oriental, guests were dressed to the nines in brightly coloured outfits that aptly played to the space and ambience. CapitaLand had also engaged a pair of bedazzling lions to bring a roaring start to the dinner activities.

To specially cater to the event’s Lunar New Year theme, VOX specially curated a set of vibrant Chinese tunes which included 春节序曲 (‘Spring Festival Overture’), 金蛇狂舞 (‘Dance of the Golden Snake’) and 瑶族舞曲 (‘Dance of the ‘Yao’ Tribe’) to kick off the stage entertainment for the evening. Following the unique first set of Chinese pieces, VOX also performed their signature repertoire for audiences. This included crowd favourites such as Rolling With Mozart, Viva La Vida (with a Samba twist) as well as Get Lucky.
