WRAPPING UP VOCALISE’S 2024

Looking back at our accomplishments in the past year!

As the year draws to a close, we look back on some of the many things that we have done in 2024. This year saw our biggest project to date – “On The Wings of Hermès” exhibition with Orchestra V. This was the first time that Vocalise had handled the entire segment, from pitching and planning to final production. Featuring a 27-strong ensemble led by our Music Director, Lester Kong, this production involved precise executions of choreography along with the music.

This year, we also debuted new groups, adding on to our existing lineup. Marching V made its debut in May at Lancôme’s Idôle House pop-up. We also launched Vocalise Malaysia with our first gig in Kuala Lumpur with Vocalise Jazz Pop ft Stephanie for Armani Beauty’s Holiday Launch. Our brass quintet, Funky V also had their first performance at a private event, and more recently a year-end dinner for Coach.

Our pop-rock string quartet VOX also debuted their first original piece, “Triumphant”, at The Macallan’s 200th Anniversary event, “The Heart of The Spirit Experience”. Composed by James Yeo, “Triumphant” is packed with powerful melodies, pulsating rhythms and an upbeat backing track that embodies VOX’s flair and uniqueness.

Bringing the year to a close, Vocalise was back performing at Ralph Lauren’s annual Holiday Tree Light Up. Taking place at the mesmerising Jewel Changi Airport, this year’s performance featured a 5-piece string ensemble joined by singer Tabitha Nauser.

We are grateful to have had many new opportunities this year and we thank our clients for the continuous trust in us to deliver quality entertainment. We are excited of what the new year will bring!

YEAR-END FESTIVE CELEBRATIONS

Funky V at Coach Diamond Dinner

Funky V made a surprise performance at the Coach Diamond Dinner held at the AIR CCCC restaurant. The brass quintet marched out and into the crowd as they started off with Christmas-favourites such as It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas. They then proceeded downstairs to another level of guests continuing with more festive tunes such as Feliz Navidad.

The quintet kept guests entertained during their dinner by moving around and in between tables, bringing the performance up close. They featured other classics and pop favourites in funky renditions such as Fly Me to The Moon and Shake It Off.
