Double Events with VOX
A busy week for VOX this month with two gigs just a few days apart. VOX rocked out with an opening performance for Audemars Piguet launch of it’s new AP House and the world’s first AP Café at Raffles Hotel, and the Confrérie du Sabre d’Or Singapore Gala Dinner.
In true VOX fashion, the quartet gave an electrifying performance without the use of scores, supported by a backing track. They featured a mixture of VOX’s original mash ups such as Rolling In The Deep with Mozart’s Symphony No. 40 and You Give Love A Bad Name with Bach’s Toccata and Fugue. Both nights also included other timeless pieces like September, Viva La Vida, Sweet Child O’ Mine, and many more. Second Edition of our String Quartet Workshop
Vocalise is back with another edition of our String Quartet Workshop! Over the course of two enriching days, participants had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of and refine their ensemble-playing skills.
Musicians of diverse backgrounds, experience levels, and even ages came together to explore the intricacies of playing in a quartet. Under the guidance of our instructors, Tat and James, they learned how to adapt their individual playing styles to blend with the group. Beginning with icebreakers and warmup exercises, the group moved on to tackle two pieces as a quartet. At the end of the workshop, participants not only improved their technical and musical abilities, but also gained a newfound appreciation for the art of chamber music.

WEDDING SHOWCASES WITH VOCALISE
VSQ at Vivienne Westwood Collection Showcase
VSQ had the privilege of being the live accompaniment to the Vivienne Westwood Made-to-Order 2025 Bridal Collection Showcase by The Proposal Singapore.
Playing to a small and intimate crowd, the quartet started off with a short set as guests arrived before moving on to the showcase segment. VSQ provided an elegant yet lively backdrop as the gowns were being featured on the runway with pieces such as Material Girl, Dynamite, Happier Than Ever, and more.

Vocalise at The Wedding EDITION
Vocalise was delighted to be part of the recent wedding show at the Singapore EDITION this past month, showcasing our Violin & Cello Duet in the foyer and our booth in the ballroom, alongside a curated selection of luxury wedding vendors.
The Duet captivated couples, offering them a glimpse into the enchanting ambiance live music can bring to their special day. Performing vibrant string renditions of pop classics such as Love Story, L.O.V.E., Diamonds, and more, the duet added a touch of elegance and charm to the event.
JOYY x DJ Aldrin
Solo Violinist JOYY performed together with DJ Aldrin for a private event at SKAI Loft. JOYY opened the night with her electrifying original piece, Alegria, captivating guests with her dynamic solo piece. She was later joined by DJ Aldrin, who provided a seamless transition from her solo into a high-energy rendition of Lizzo’s About Damn Time, creating an exciting fusion of live strings and electronic beats. As the night progressed, DJ Aldrin kept the energy going, spinning a mix of pop classics.
