VOX was pleased to present the opening performance for Manulife Financial Advisers’ Awards Night 2026. Held at the iconic Shangri-La Singapore Island Ballroom, the pop-rock quartet kicked off the evening with their original mash-up of Rolling in the Deep for a crowd of over 800 guests.
Although the client had initially requested only an opening performance piece, Vocalise proposed incorporating a choreographed entrance to create a more impactful experience. With the violinists entering from the ballroom floor before joining the cello and viola on stage, the quartet delivered an electrifying performance that perfectly set the tone for the evening’s celebrations and awards ahead.

east meets west – a customised lineup
Vocalise recently curated a customised ensemble blending both Eastern and Western musical elements for a private event. The line-up featured the unique combination of Erhu, piano, double bass, alongside male and female vocalists, creating a versatile musical experience. Tailored to the client’s requests, the repertoire spanned classical, jazz, and musical theatre favourites, as well as Mandarin, Hokkien, French, and Italian selections.

VSQ was honoured to be invited to perform at the State Banquet for Vietnam, hosted by President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and Mrs Jane Ittogi Shanmugaratnam in honour of the President of Vietnam Tô Lâm and First Lady Madam Ngo Phuong Ly’s introductory visit to Singapore.
The quartet provided the soundtrack for the afternoon banquet with a repertoire spanning classical works, pop favourites, and beloved local tunes, alongside specially requested Vietnamese and classical pieces such as Hoàng Đạm’s Vu Khuc Tay Nguyen (Dance of the Central Highlands). VSQ was deeply honoured to be part of such a significant and distinguished occasion.
