Wedding show at Capitol Theatre & Capitol Kempinski hotel

On 13 July, Vocalise was honoured to be part of Capitol Kempinski first wedding show put together by The Wedding Entourage and other industry top partners.

At noon, the event kicked off at the hotel, with our skilled jazz duo (a saxophonist and a guitarist) keeping guests entertained during registration. We started off with feel-good tunes, adding to the already bubbly atmosphere as guests started arriving and were waiting to enter the ballroom. It felt just like a cocktail session. Inside, it was an intimate setup with enough space for 12 tables.

Next, guests were led by our saxophonist to Capitol Theatre. It was an interesting walk, as guests followed the beautiful tunes to the next venue. Definitely something one could not miss out, and guests were kept refreshed with soothing tunes throughout the day.

Upon reaching Capitol Theatre, the extravagant opening acts included an aerialist performance, a fashion show and two chef presentations. There was never a dull moment that day, as event organisers were determined to show off the limitless capabilities of the venue.

After the opening acts, that was when it was our turn to stun the audience again. We showcased 2-sets of a stunning five-piece band featuring Ms Lou and Imelda with double bassist, keyboardist, saxophonist and percussionist, inviting guests to set the dance floor on fire.

Eventually, the event ended with a bang with a lucky draw and a modern dance performance. Seeing the smiles on all the young couples’ faces made the planning process worth it.

What a day to remember!

Take a listen at their performance!
