Emcee for Press Conference of ‘Climate S.O.S’ at ArtScience Museum

On 4 October, our emcee, Charissa, hosted the Press Conference of Climate S.O.S- Season of Sustainability, at the ArtScience Museum at Marina Bay Sands.

Climate S.O.S is ArtScience Museum’s complimentary public showcase that highlights the impact of climate change on our oceanic environments. It was an exciting afternoon, and Charissa also introduced the global premiere of a new short documentary, Arctic Awakening.

With the unveiling of a showcase on such a crucial topic, many distinguished guests were there to show their support.

Mr Sam Tan, Minister of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs & Ministry of Social and Family Development, was an invited guest that day, and is passionate about the topic, having visited the Arctic himself.

After the photo-taking session with all the invited distinguished guests, audience were treated to the premier of Arctic Awakening, a documentary by one of the panelist, Jessica Cheam. This documentary is an eye opener for many of us, sending a message that what happens in the Arctic, affects all of us around the world.

After the premier, Charissa moderated the panel discussion, consisted of :

Ms Honor Harger, Executive Director of ArtScience Museum

Ms Jessica Cheam, Founder & Managing Editor, Eco-Business, and

Ms Kay Vasey, Founder of The MeshMinds Foundation
