On 29 August, VOX got the opportunity to perform for Zenith, a Swiss luxury watch brand, at Ngee Ann City’s Civic Plaza.
The on-going exhibition is titled ‘A Star Through Time’, and is an open concept watch bar for people to try on a range of watches, complete with videos and interactive photos. Visitors can also learn more about the history of watches by reading the murals on the wall.
The space was dimly lit, with spotlights and special lighting used in certain places to emphasise the uniqueness of certain watches. With an already bustling atmosphere, VOX hyped the crowd up with their opening set. The band added a more intense and fast-paced feel to the audience, fuelling the anticipation of the newly-open exhibition.
They played tunes like ‘September’ and ‘Sweet Child of Mine’, before moving on to more background music like ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Wonderwall’ and ‘Don’t Stop Believing’.
It was indeed a night to remember, being able to perform among various watches with a unique history.
